SplitHTTP in Xray
SplitHTTP is an obfuscation method used in Xray, a popular tool for bypassing internet censorship and ensuring privacy. SplitHTTP is designed to split and disguise traffic, making it less noticeable and harder to analyze.
Key Concepts of SplitHTTP in Xray:
- Splitting Requests: SplitHTTP divides HTTP requests into smaller parts, making them harder to analyze and block. The requests can be broken down into smaller packets sent through different channels.
- Traffic Obfuscation: Obfuscating data helps hide the true content of the traffic from monitoring and analysis systems. This is achieved by altering the structure and headers of HTTP requests.
- Server-side Reconstruction: On the Xray server, the received parts of HTTP requests are collected and reconstructed into their original form, allowing them to be processed correctly and forwarded to the intended recipient.
- Dynamic Pattern Changes: SplitHTTP uses various patterns for traffic obfuscation, making it less predictable and harder to block. These patterns can dynamically change, adapting to network conditions.
Advantages of Using SplitHTTP:
- Complexity of Analysis: Split and obfuscated requests are more challenging to analyze and block, increasing the chances of successfully bypassing internet censorship.
- Flexibility: The ability to dynamically change obfuscation patterns allows for adaptation to different conditions and improves resistance to blocking.
- Compatibility: SplitHTTP can be used in conjunction with other obfuscation and censorship bypass methods, enhancing overall effectiveness.
We will soon support the SplitHTTP technology in all our VPN clients.
